Job Description
Ultimately this will be a hands on position working within a small, tight knit finance team.
Your key duties will include supporting the Financial Controller in all aspects of accounting, with key duties including:
- Reconciliation of bank accounts & credit cards, including inter-entity loans and all balance sheet items
- Preparation of BAS documentation for multiple entities within the group
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Processing Accounts Payable invoices
- Processing a full function, end to end payroll for circa 40 staff
- Process improvements, systems changes & ultimately driving forward the finance function
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant should have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance, ideally studying towards or completed a CA/CPA
- Experience in hands on reconciliations duties & BAS preparation
- Experience running a full function payroll
- Able & willing to process AP invoices daily.
Experience in the residential construction sector will be very highly regarded, as will experience using Xero.
