This Civil Contractor company is a locally-owned business group specializing in major civil construction, mechanical maintenance, and labor hire.
The Role
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and project managers to ensure timely completion of project documentation.
- Promote adherence to the company handbook, policies, and procedures among staff.
- Create and maintain an organized team environment.
- Review processes and support continuous improvement.
- Manage project documentation and liaise with contractors regarding site procedures, safety plans, and inductions.
- Communicate with site supervisors and project managers as needed.
- Prepare, review, and approve documents before distribution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for project requirements, including obtaining quotes and raising purchase orders.
- Handle contract variations and progress claims as directed by project managers.
The Person:
- Experience working in the civil construction or infrastructure industry as a project administrator
- Experience with MYOB Advanced and Procore highly regarded but not strictly essential.
- Live in Yeppoon or Rockhampton or nearby and capable of working full-time business hours in the office
- Excellent communication, organisation and documentation skills
