Role overview
As our New Home Maintenance Coordinator, reporting into the Construction Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers post hand-over of each new home. The ideal person for this role, will have a strong blend of technical knowledge, organisational skills, and excellence in customer service.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage all maintenance related matters on behalf of Regent Homes
- Provide quality in construction workmanship
- Deliver an experience that focusses on accountability, proactivity and delighting our customers both on the day or post hand over
- Implement new initiatives post hand-over, driving increased brand health, value, and referrals
- Assist the Construction supervisor in the preparation of the new home
- Complete any maintenance issues identified on the day of hand over in a timely fashion
- Closely manage maintenance expenditure to minimise out of pocket costs to the business
- Supply timely and accurate reporting and data; specifically, maintenance progress, WHS, and customer satisfaction
- Foster strong relationships between our contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure Regent homes is 100% compliant in all aspects of Work Health and Safety
- Provide timely progress updates to all Regent Home customers
- Ensuring that our homes are built to Regent Homes’ high-standards and to the complete satisfaction of our customers
What you will bring
- Proven experience in home maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
- Experience in managing projects, timelines, and resources for repairs or renovations, including budgeting
- A construction trade is highly desirable
- A high-level of self-motivation and autonomy
- Experience in managing schedules for routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections
- Sound knowledge of the National Construction and Australian standards & codes
- Solid understanding of building specifications, materials, and construction practices
- Experience with project management / maintenance software (Onsite Companion preferred but not required)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
- Knowledge of health and safety standards to ensure that properties are safe for occupants and maintenance teams
