About the role
As the leader of the independent assurance function, you will be instrumental in the success of the Transforming Boroondara program. You will oversee governance, ensure accountability, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive positive outcomes. Your role will involve monitoring program progress, realising benefits, and effectively managing risks. You are an experienced and strategic leader with a passion for governance and program management in complex environments. You thrive in dynamic settings, leveraging your strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive successful program outcomes. With a history of delivering large-scale transformational programs, you excel in providing clear, insightful governance while maintaining a focus on benefits realisation and risk management. You have a knack for inspiring teams, collaborating across departments, and influencing executive leadership.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for overseeing the governance and assurance of the Transforming Boroondara program, ensuring strategic outcomes are delivered effectively. This includes managing project pipelines, tracking critical activities, and providing independent quality assurance. You will monitor and report on risks, ensuring proper mitigation strategies, and ensure that benefits are realised and aligned with program objectives. Additionally, you will engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, provide governance training, and lead a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement and effective resource management.
