An opportunity exists for an experienced Project Officer to join our growing New Melton Hospital Project team on a full time, fixed term basis.
The Victorian Government has committed more than $900 million to deliver a brand-new Melton Hospital in 2029, the first all-electric hospital in Victoria. The Melton Hospital will include a 24-hour emergency department, at least 274 beds, an intensive care unit, maternity and neonatal services, mental health services, radiology services and ambulatory care.
Construction is expected to start in 2024 and be finished in 2029.
Based across sites, you will work with Western Health and our partners, communities and consumers on a range of service development, change management and other project tasks associated with the New Melton Hospital (NMH) project.
Role
To be Successful in this Role you will have:
- Extensive clinical experience within a complex healthcare setting
- Experience participating in or leading projects in a healthcare setting
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills to support effective team functioning, stakeholder engagement, conflict identification and constructive resolution
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively meet deadlines
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
