About Our Client
My client is a prominent players in the life sciences industry with operations spanning across the globe and are dedicated to improve patients lives with innovation solutions.
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end procedures including, general ledger journal entries, WIP and payroll
- Maintain the fixed assets register
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage the quarterly unbilled WIP process
- Responsibility of preparation of BAS and other compliance
- Liaising with the company's tax advisors and assisting with preparation of company Income Tax and FBT returns
- Provide support for financial reporting, regulatory compliance and administration
- Support in the share option exercise process, including compliance and tax
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you must have the following
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years experience working in an accounting environment
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Excel
- Experience in public practice or an ASX environment is highly regarded
- Experience with SAP and IBM Cognos is highly regarded
- Consistent attention to detail
- Demonstrate time management skills
