Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Project Manager at Buildcheck Engineering & Building Consultants in the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast areas. The Project Manager will be responsible for expediting projects, managing inspections, overseeing logistics, ensuring efficient project management on a day-to-day basis and delivering necessary documentation to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Completed a degree in engineering, building or construction project management, or have significant experience in the construction industry and be willing to pursue further education if necessary.

Bachelor's degree in Structural/ Civil engineering or Project Management qualification
Experience with the construction industry and Project Management
Experience in the investigation and assessment of building and structures` defects, failures, and repair methodology, constructions, and materials
Advanced Office package skills (Microsoft Office)
Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to do physical site inspections.
Capable of the planning and organization of tasks, time management and attention to detail is desirable to be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to collaborate within a team environment and in communicating concepts/ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in successfully working on multiple projects. A track record in working in a multi-disciplinary team.
Interest in working for a growing engineering company.
