AVIARC – HSEQ Officer

Expression of Interest.

Aviarc seek a qualified and experienced Aviation HSEQ Officer, reporting to one of our HSEQ Managers.

The Aviarc team works with multiple Aviation businesses to facilitate industry and regulatory compliance, and meet Safety, Quality, WHS and Environmental standards across multiple diverse core clients of varying size and scope of operations.

This includes aerial fire-fighting, agricultural, flying school, international aeromedical, ground-handling & FBO, aerial display, fixed & rotary wing charter, resources industry, helicopter marine-pilot transfer, helicopter EMS/SAR, and helicopter mustering.

Our small team of aviation experts provides a “one stop solution” for our clients to meet their HSEQ Management, and platform optimisation requirements. These elements include, CASA post-holder (Form 4), document control/authoring, Safety training, Risk Management, Risk Assurance & Internal Audit Program , Policy/Objective/ Target/KPI Management, and HSEQ Promotion.

On a day-to-day basis we manage safety reporting, conduct audits and coordinate risk management via electronic management systems. We also integrate management systems and are unique in optimising software platforms to help with the execution of, and demonstrate compliance with legislative, regulatory, client and organisational requirements.

This new HSEQ Officer position requires aviation industry recognised qualifications in:

Aviation Safety Management Systems
Safety Investigation & Lead Auditor
WHS, DAMP, HF/NTS, FRMS, RRTW experience is beneficial, but not mandatory.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous experience in aviation HSEQ. We need people who are articulate, confident, humble, resilient, fast learners, speak the aviation vernacular and can efficiently multi task to achieve the high standards that we consistently apply and more importantly, that our clients expect.

Aviation Safety/Quality practitioners are required for this role. An operational background in engineering, piloting, air traffic control or ground service operations is highly desirable. Aptitude with software, Microsoft Office, and online management systems (particularly Air Maestro) will be highly regarded.

Employment will be full-time (40 hours per week), based in Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Aviarc operates a hybrid model with the working week split across client locations, working from the office, and from home. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications & experience, and in accordance with relevant Fair Work Regulations and advice.
