Job task and responsibilities:

This position requires that the candidate has their own tools and takes pride in their work and has great attention to detail. We are looking for someone who can work autonomously and as a part of a team. The successful candidate will have knowledge of handles, hinges, and other materials, and be able to cut, build and assemble custom cabinetry for our clients. An understanding of computer-generated drawings is required, so experience in a similar role is essential. Knowledge of CNC machine, edge bander and other cabinetry machinery is ideal. Corian, Hi Max, Marble Solid surface experience is also ideal. Must also have recent high end experience using solid timber and in the manufacture of curved joinery, shaker panels and handling expensive pre finished veneers.

Typical duties will also include:

· Examining drawing and work orders

· Marking out , shaping, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials to specifications.

· Assembling parts to form sections of cabinetry as per specifications

· Traveling to various sites to install cabinetry and joinery

Skills and experience

We are seeking candidates who possess the following:

· Trade qualifications, with at least 5 years ‘experience post qualification

· Ability to read drawings, manufacture and assemble basic and high-end joinery

· Driver’s licence and reliable transport

· A positive, can-do attitude and is honest and reliable.

· Ability to work autonomously and as part of team

· Experience with solid surface materials highly advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
