Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the estimating process, including cost analysis, bid preparation, and proposal development for underground construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the estimation process for large-scale and complex projects.
Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to develop accurate cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for bids.
Prepare detailed project cost breakdowns, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Analyze and review historical data for pricing accuracy and cost efficiency.
Conduct risk assessments and identify potential challenges in project execution.
Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain pricing and project details.
Submit proposals and follow the bid submission process.
Monitor and update cost databases and pricing strategies.
Assist in negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in estimating within the construction or underground drilling industry.
Strong knowledge of cost management and construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with local construction laws, codes, and regulations.
