At the moment we are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Time Bricklayer to join our team.

Duties

Qualifications and Requirements

Relevant certifications
Proven 2 years of experience as a Bricklayer or similar role in construction
Proficient in bricklaying techniques and tools
Strong understanding of construction and masonry materials
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Excellent physical condition and stamina

and Responsibilities

Work from plans and specifications to confirm the materials required, dimensions and installation procedures from our clients
Lay bricks and blocks to construct, raise, reform walls, arches, fences and other structures according to client’s request
Ensure alignment is level and accurate
Use equipment and machines to cut bricks when required
Mix and pour concrete and mortar and spread as required and as per job specifications
Maintain clean work and a clean work space
Construct and work off scaffolding as per state or site-based requirements
Cement blocks/bricks and related structures
Repair/Fix bricks, blocks, cement and other structures as necessary
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Wear correct PPE at all times

Salary:

The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $74000-$80000; plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
