CoreMarine is a digital-first construction partner, delivering tech and projects to the biggest sectors in the ocean economy.
The engineering team at CoreMarine is distributed across locations (Spain, Norway, and Australia) and two main verticals: CoreDigital and CoreConstruct. Our combined capabilities mean we are able to deliver comprehensive work and optimisations both in design and operations. Our teams deliver and support projects across multiple continents and with exciting partners.

As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Play a crucial role in developing and executing the plans for our projects from offshore wind, subsea installations, mooring and cables.
- Design and optimise moorings and power cable layouts using Orcaflex.
- Use Python to automate your work and contribute to the backend of CoreDigital tools.
- Take part in innovation that pushes the boundaries of what is possible in offshore engineering.
- Get the chance to go offshore and perform site visits and site inspections

- Have at least 2+ yearsâ experience in project engineering preferably in the maritime or offshore industry.
- Have a Masters or Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering, Marine Technical Engineering, Naval Architecture.
- Write code and scripts in Python to automate your work.
- Can integrate maths & physics logic into your code.
- Have a passion for going in-depth on technical problems and finding new ways to solve them.
âď¸ Bonus points if you haveâŚ
- Worked with other hydrodynamic software applications like Orcaflex, Sesam, Wamit, or MoorDyn.
- Offshore experience, or any other type of experience that helps you understand offshore project execution.
- Experience with design or delivery of digital and sensor based systems.
